Control Panel and Editing Interface
The Admin Interface is a secure section of the CMS that allows you and your staff to login and edit content on the site.
The changes you make in the CMS can be seen on the web site straight away and any content you add automatically picks up the house style of the web site.
The browser based interface uses a clean and simple design, separated out by the type of content you are editing. Anyone with some experience of using desktop computers and browsing the web will find it very easy to use, especially anyone familiar with Microsoft® Word. There is no need to install any client software on PCs in order to edit content.
In the future, as your needs change, you may decide to update the style and theme of the web site. The CMS helps to protect your investment by keeping the cost of future redesigns down. When new templates are added the Control Panel automatically adjusts itself to accommodate them.
To help keep editing as simple as possible we do not include any workflow, user accounts, roles or publishing processes in the Control Panel. These are available to meet specific needs by arrangement as each editing team is different. Keeping these processes out of the Control Panel allows individuals or small editing teams to focus on the task at hand - creating content without confusion or unnecessary complication.
