Content

All types of content in the CMS support images. Images can be uploaded and added to your content. Images can either be linked to content directly using the template system integrated into the Control Panel or by placing images directly into rich text content using the Rich Text Editor

Fonts / Text to Image Conversion (TTI)

The small range of web safe fonts has always been an issue for web designers. Some will edit their text off-line in a photo editing application and then just upload the new "photo" to update their web site. This technique creates lots of problems, not least the fact that you can't just update your web site using your web browser.

Our system can generate these images on the fly, completely automatically, from the text you type into your Content Management System. You can use any font file you own, no matter what format. As you'd expect the results are high quality, anti-aliased text with a choice of foreground, background and under colours as well as transparencies and font styles.

Alternative text is added for those who aren't loading the images such as some screen readers or mobile phone users and Google always sees the text version of your content. Our technique is good for both accessibility and SEO, as well as making web pages load quickly.

Text to Image conversion is most suitable for use on navigation menus, headings and certain other items of text such as tag lines. The reason for this is that your visitors may like to be able to copy & paste, resize and print your text.

Larger areas of content managed text can be presented in arbitrary fonts using alternative technique such as sIFR.

Resizing and Scaling

Our image manipulation system can resize, scale, skew and rotate your images and produces high quality results. Your photos will be safe with our CMS. The various features can be applied automatically when your photos are uploaded as well on the fly for images used in multiple places on your web site.
